Comfort Zones, Getting Over Yourself

Tomorrow morning I leave for Wild Goose Fest with my co-workers (and good friends). This means that for the first time in nearly a decade I will be:
*in the western part of NC (I lived in Asheville briefly in 1999 & 2000) and
*camping – though I used to do it quite a lot I have tended to spend more of my time in bed & breakfasts than in campgrounds over the years.

I’m looking forward to doing things I used to do; to doing things I haven’t done before. I’m looking forward to spending time with people I care about.

I am both terrified and looking forward to being without my cell phone or iPad until Monday. Until then…
